Whip of Jiang Ziya that punishes only those named on the canonization list, not mortals.

The God-Striking Whip is the talisman given to Jiang Ziya by the Primordial Heavenly Worthy. Its twenty-one joints bear eighty-four faces, and it may strike only those whose names are written on the canonization list — never mortal men. It turns the divine punishment of the gods into an instrument of the new dynasty’s mandate.
