The Huntian Sash is Nezha’s crimson ribbon, wound about his body as protection and thrown to churn rivers and bind demons. When the boy bathes in the Nine Bay River, it is the sash that stirs the Eastern Sea and brings the Dragon King’s army — the thread from which the whole tale of Nezha’s rebellion unravels.
