Precious staff of Sha Wujing hewn from the moon’s sal tree, weighing over five thousand jin.

The Demon-Subduing Staff is the weapon of Sha Wujing, hewn from the salwood of the moon by Wu Gang himself and given by the Jade Emperor to his curtain-lifting general. Weighted at over five thousand jin, it guards the pilgrim’s luggage and the pilgrim’s back. Unlike the Monkey King’s staff it never changes shape — its power is simply to be heavy and true.
