The Tomb of Three Kings

A swordsmith slain by his king, his son avenges him with the hidden blade in the cauldron’s terrible end.

Ordered by the King of Chu to forge a sword, Ganjiang labors for three years and succeeds only when his wife Moye gives her own body to the fire. Fearing the sword’s power, the king kills him; before dying, Ganjiang tells his unborn son where the male sword is hidden. Years later the son, guided by a stranger, presents the sword and his own head to the king, and in the boiling cauldron strikes the king dead — three heads boil together and are buried as the Tomb of the Three Kings.
