The Thunder Wing

Found in a thunderstorm by King Wen, raised by Yunzhongzi, he gains wings and joins the Zhou campaign.

Riding toward the Shang capital, King Wen of Zhou finds an abandoned child in a thunderstorm beneath Mount Yan and names him Leizhenzi, “Thunder’s Son,” entrusting him to the immortal Yunzhongzi of Zhongnan Mountain. Fed the immortal apricots, the boy grows wings of wind and thunder and a face like indigo; wielding his golden staff, he becomes one of the Zhou army’s boldest vanguard generals.
