Nezha churned the Eastern Sea and slew the dragon prince, then gave his body back and was reborn of lotus.

In Nezha’s most famous tale, the boy bathing in the Nine Bay River churns the Eastern Sea with his red sash. He kills the dragon prince Ao Bing and pulls out his sinews, bringing the Dragon King’s wrath upon Chen Tang Pass. To spare his parents, Nezha returns his flesh and bones, then is reborn from lotus by the immortal Taiyi — and rises to fight the dragons again.
