Wukong steals ginseng fruits and topples the tree; Guanyin restores it with sweet dew.

At the Five Villages Monastery, the earth immortal Zhenyuan keeps a ginseng tree whose fruits resemble infants and ripen once in ten thousand years. Urged on by Zhu Bajie, Wukong steals the fruits; insulted by the stewards, he uproots the whole tree in anger. Zhenyuan binds the pilgrims until Wukong searches every heaven for a cure — and Guanyin revives the tree with the dew of her vase, turning enemies into sworn brothers.
